Historical Notes from the 1964 Lazy Ike Catalog
Very very similar to the 1963 catalog. Just a few changes on colors available for certain lures etc. Another 11"x11" format, the second in a run of these square catalogs. Not my favorites. They tend to be found kind of beat up and they are not easy to scan (so my apologies for that). This is also the second of Lazy Ike numbering their catalogs. This one is Catalog 864. This helps us collectors later on but I think they started making mistakes by 869 before fixing it again later.
1963 was the first appearance of the Shark Ike and Bat Ike after the acquisition of the Demon Lure Company. It still shows as new in 1964. These are two pretty big additions to the Lazy Ike family. Also still showing as new are the Rattle Ike is new this year. The Lucky Ike Spoon was also a new addition. This is just the company not changing the catalog.
