Bomber Wooden 500 Series, #09 Pearl Spots Color with Box (509). At about 3 1/2" long this lure is in great condition aside from a few minor blemishes and lines from age. Box is in good condition as well with minor wear and marks. One of the all time greatest lures in an iconic color. Fish or collect. See photos.
These lures came from the old stock of a vintage tackle store and have never been fished!
There is one lure available with a handwritten label, however this lure is a bit cheaper to compensate for that.
Bomber:
The Bomber is designed as a deep-diving, fast-wiggling lure which can be used equally successfully by the novice or expert fisherman. Even though all but the 200 series are floating lures, Bombers will run much deeper than most sinking type baits. The board diving bill not only drives the Bomber to depths but also acts as a guard to prevent excessive hang-ups on brush. This feature allows the lure to be fished at great depths with a minimum of lost lures and makes it an ideal trolling lure. It is also ideal as a casting or spinning lure. -Expert from the 1975 Bomber Catalog
