Pfeiffer Tackle Co. ZZ Topper Surface Bait, Gold w/Black Lace Color with Card. Fantastic wooden bait here. About 3 1/2" long excluding the propellers. Bait is new in card. Card is in good condition with minor wear, see photos. Fish or collect.
The ZZ Topper is a hand-crafted, wooden surface bait made in the style of the old Surf-Oreno and Bon-net. The bait works best in calm to lightly chopper water and should be retrieved slowly and steadily. Try to make the bait appear to be a small animal swimming through the water. The bait will not work best with a fast retrieve where it is buzzed across the surface. Give the lure an occasional, slight twitch!
Tougher one to find. Originally out of Rhinelander, Wisconsin.
