Historical Notes from the 1956 Lazy Ike Catalog

These early Kautzky catalogs are tough to find and full of great information.  On the first page you can see the world famous Lazy Ike in all of the sizes from the No. "00" Fly Ike up to the No. "5" Salty Ike.  ???? Wait, what... isn't that the Musky Ike you say... Not originally.  It was called the Salty Ike "Perfect size for salt water spinning tackle, providing itself a Muskie Killer."

Page 2 kicks off with the very underrated Top Ikes and the "NEW" Deep Ike, Skitter Ike, and Bounce Ike.  Page 3 shows a great Tackle Pack that would be a cool find if any survived.

Below is the complete scanned 1956 Lazy Ike fishing lure catalog. Each page is shown in order so collectors and researchers can study the lure models, finishes, and tackle descriptions used by the Lazy Ike Corporation during this period.
