1962 Lazy Ike Fishing Lure Catalog

The 1962 Kautzky's Lazy Ike fishing lure catalog provides collectors with a detailed look at the lures and fishing tackle offered by the Kautzky Lazy Ike Company.  By 1962, the Kautzky family was wrapping up the sale of Lazy Ike and this is actually the last catalog Kautzy would put out for the baits.  Kautzky Sporting Goods would continue but after this catalog, Lazy Ike would be Lazy Ike Corporation as we will see soon in the 2nd 1962 Lazy Ike catalog.

Historical Notes from the 1962 Lazy Ike Catalog

This is the swan song for Kautzky and Lazy Ike.  This is the last Kautzky Lazy Ike catalog.  They would sell Lazy Ike to the Lazy Ike Corporation who would put out their own 1962 catalog.  Kautzky Sporting Goods would remain but the control of Lazy Ike would move on.

You also start to see the transition from wooden to plastic Ikes.  Note if you find plastic Lazy Ikes with the Kautzky name on the top, they are from this very short period and tough to find.

Below is the complete scanned 1962 Lazy Ike fishing lure catalog. Each page is shown in order so collectors and researchers can study the lure models, finishes, and tackle descriptions used by the Lazy Ike Corporation during this period.

NOTE:  These pages had fold outs and I did a stich job of putting them together and fitting to one page (not the best I know).  It still gives you a complete picture of the pages.
