For Sale & Trade Board Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ's)
The "For Sale & Trade" Board was created so that all collectors would have a place to come and list that item for sale or trade without paying fees or having your entry expire after a few days. It is basically an open forum. I will allow just about anything fishing lure related and even extend into other outdoor type listings. The only requirements is that this board is not to be cluttered with junk, obsenities, or inappropriate messages. There is no charge, fees, or any cost to you for this board. I do have final control over any listing and will remove inappropriate (vulgar) listings. The whole concept is to post something you have and when somebody likes it to email you and work out a deal. I am NOT involved in the sales/trade process at all and will not become an arbitrator. Please feel free to post your items here as this is what is was created for. As the board becomes bigger I will look at adding more features to it. Please remember once you sell or trade an item to remove it from the board. Should you ever have any questions, just drop me an email.
QUESTION:
HOW DO I LIST AN ITEM?
ANSWER:
This is actually pretty easy. First click on "Add An Item". You will be taken to a page to fill out with the specifics. If you have already done this before and have a log in and password, you must log in first. Once logged in, you can add new items, modify an existing item you have listed or delete your entry. If you have not signed up before and gotten a log in, just list your item with a contact email and password and this will sign you up with your first listing.

CAN ANYBODY LIST AN ITEM HERE?
ANSWER:
Yes. This is an open forum, feel free to list away. There are no fees, charges or any other costs. The only requirement is that it be related to fishing lures, fishing, hunting or generally outdoor related. As long as the board is not cluttered with junk, I will be pretty liberal about this.
QUESTION:
HOW DO I REMOVE AN ITEM?
ANSWER:
First you must log in. Once you log in, just click on delete next to that item. You will be asked if the item was sold or traded from this board. Please be honest here. The only thing this matters for is to move my counter on the front page of how many have been sold/traded from this board. Kind of like the McDonald's 50 billion hamburgers sold counter.
QUESTION:
I CAN'T SEEM TO GET MY ITEM TO LIST. I SUBMIT IT AND IT DOESN'T SHOW UP. WHY?
ANSWER:
This is kind of a system glitch for the time being and I will be working on fixing this. The problem is that the "Lure/Box/Other" field is too large. Just enter a very short description for now. Once the listing shows up you can edit your listing to the original longer one your desired.
QUESTION:
HOW DO I BUY AN ITEM?
ANSWER:
This is easy. Just click on the email address associated with that item and inform the seller that you would like to purchase that item. He or she will email you the details.
QUESTION:
I'VE FORGOTTEN MY PASSWORD. HELP?!?
ANSWER:
Currently there is no automated way to handle this so what you need to do is email me and request your password.
QUESTION:
HOW DO I SEE A PICTURE OF THE LURE/ITEM FOR SALE OR TRADE?
ANSWER:
The very last column on the page is entitled "Image?". If there is a picture of a camera for that listing, click on it and the photo will appear. If there is not camera, the seller did not list a picture.
