This line is based on self absorbing suture thread that they use to stitch people together after surgery. Take a look at their technology page. It shows nylon filament takes hundreds of years to degrade and flurocarbon could be over 1000 years to degrade. This line is supposed to take 10 years to degrade. I will buy a spool and see if it is any good.
