tough to find a 12" or better perch

when i got back to ice fishing this year , i joined a new website-"ICESHANTY.COM "lots of members all over the usa that has ice during the winter months---the boys from that lakes area said the perch fishing was horrible---nothing like it used to before--6 six inch fish now was a good day---the days of the 12inch plus fish was gone , most of the guys blamed the heavy comercial fishing was depleteing everything in the great lakes---said you could see the food stores loaded with fresh water game fish---,me ,i don't know ,not there to see whats in the stores ,or to talk with anyone in person ,but i tend to go along with the article ---lou
