This morning I was watching some of the Bass Master Classic on ESPN. Every time I watch a B.A.S.S. fishing tournament on ESPN I noticed they rarely show the lure on which the fish is caught. I have my theories:
1. They don't want to upset their sponsors by showing another company's lure catching a fish. 2. They don't want to upset the fisherman's sponsor by showing him catching a fish with a generic or competing company's lure. This may make me sound like a conspiracy nut with a wild imagination, but I always try to see what lure was used and ESPN never shows it clearly if at all. I think we need another congressional hearing as soon as they are done wasting time on baseball. If you watch the Magruder tapes carefully you will notice a man with a spinner bait on the grassy knoll.
